Champion Bus manufactures different types of buses including:
• Challenger - small to mid-size bus using a Ford E-series (350 or 450), Chevy Express 3500 or 4500 chassis
• Crusader - small bus using Ford E-series (350) and Chevy Express 3500 Chassis
• CTS FE (Front Engine) - large bus using Freightliner MB65 Chassis
• CTS RE (Rear Engine) - large bus using Freightliner MB55 and MB75 Chassis
• Defender - large bus using Ford F-550, International 3200 Series, and Freightliner M2 Chassis
• LF Transport - Mid-size low-floor bus using the Ford E-450 and F-550, GM4500 and the Freightliner M2 Chassis. This particular unit can feature FLEXBUS technology.

At the Federal Transit Authority's testing facility in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Champion was one of the first manufacturers to send a cutaway bus for durability testing. Champion continues to test all buses at the production facility on a replica of the Altoona test track. Every bus manufactured by Champion has a 1.5" x 1.5" 16-gauge tubular galvanized steel cage, making them among of the safest and most durable vehicles in the business.

As the first bus manufacturer to receive Ford QVM (Qualified Vehicle Modifier) certification, Champion Bus is the sole low-floor manufacturer in the country.The company places a high priority on safety, and while theyspecialize in innovation, design, and lean manufacture of a variety of commercial buses, they frequently go above and beyond industry best practices.
